Popular Malayalam actress Kavya Madhavan says if given a chance, she would definitely like to work with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

The actress says she met the "Dilwale" star once during an award function in Kerala and was bowled over by him.

"I am a huge Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol fan. I met him once. He came to Kerala for an award function. That time I got the best actress award. I met him, danced with him.

I would definitely like to work with him. It will be a dream come true," Kavya told PTI.

The 31-year-old "Gaddama" star is now all set for her Malayalam film "Penniyum", which releases tomorrow. The romantic-drama is helmed by National Award-winning filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan.

"This is my second film with Adoor sir. I worked with him before too. I was not nervous, I was thrilled. For all of us it is a privilege to work with him. When with him, everyday is a learning experience," she said.

"Pinneyum" brings the popular pairing of Malayalam cinema - Dileep and Kavya.
The "Perumazhakkalam" actress says it is always a joy to work with actors who are also good friends off-screen.

"It is my 20th film with Dileep. He is my first hero. We didn't do any film in the last 3-4 years, but the comfort level is always there because we are friends. It definitely helps if your co-star is also your friend," she said.

The actress, who made her debut with a leading role in "Chandranudikkunna Dikhil" (1999), says Malayalam film industry has undergone a huge change over the years.

"Be it in terms of story, quality of films and performances, everything is changing in Malayalam cinema today. It is going on. I was part of that era and now this as well. It is constantly changing for good and I am very happy," Kavya said.
