Yes, the public toilets on the district administration building premises (behind AC office) have been locked.

There are separate toilets for men and women. The toilets for women are open but they are uninviting. The toilets are stained and soiled. Unpleasent smell emanates from the toilets as they are not cleaned for months. Also, the sight of men releiving themselves in open near the toilets prevent women from using the facility.

The seating arrangements have been made for the people visiting DC, AC and tahsildar's offices on the premises. The people do not use the facility due to the unbearable smell from uncleaned toilets and the filth on the premises.

The work to repair the toilet near DC's chamber, which is being used by the staff, is underway. But what about the public toilets on the premises. Who will repair them, question the hapless visitors.
