The much-awaited film ‘Mungaru Male 2’ will release today and its lead actor Ganesh says he can’t wait to catch the first day, first show.

The movie has been shot in the most exotic locations and the actor is thrilled with the outcome of the film.

Ganesh became an overnight sensation after the release of his film ‘Mungaru Male’ in 2006 and now in ‘Mungaru Male 2’, he says that he feels the same connect that he felt when he did his previous project. “There’s a freshness about ‘Mungaru Male 2.’ While the feeling of love remains the same, the way love has been portrayed has changed from the first part. We have also tweaked the script to include elements that will appeal to today’s generation,” says Ganesh.

The locations have been carefully chosen by the director. The scenes involving heavy rainfall have been shot in the real monsoons in Madikeri while a couple of scenes have been shot in the deserts of Rajasthan and in snow-capped Slovenia. Sharing his experiences of working for the film, Ganesh says that there were some scenes that had to be shot in extreme weather conditions.

“There was a scene where I had to drive in an open car and it was biting cold. I still don’t remember how I completed the scene but as soon as I finished shooting it, I had to be wrapped in a blanket because I was shivering,” adds Ganesh.

Ganesh recollects that he and Neha also had a pretty bad fall. “There was a scene where Neha and I were seated on a camel and suddenly the camel moved and we lost our balance and fell off the camel. My leg got caught in the rope that was fastened to the camel but thankfully, it wasn’t a very severe fall,” adds Ganesh.
