The state-level cultural fest of New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE) ‘Sargam’ concluded on Sunday.
Around 15,000 students from about 150 colleges participated in the fest.
Air Marshal Narayan Menon had inaugurated the event on Saturday. Captain Naveen, Chief Captain S K Karunanidhi and the parents of martyr Lt Col Niranjan Kumar were present at the event.
At an event titled ‘Veer Vandana’, 27 Veer Naris, women whose husbands served in the Indian Army were honoured and presented cheques for Rs 2.5 lakh each. Parents of martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and other servicemen were also felicitated.
