There are several ingredients in the secret recipe of being a successful leader. An ideal leader is the one who has in him that unwavering resolve, unflagging spunk/spirit, untrammeled gusto to successfully attain his target aims/goals.

However the tasks could be challenging, intimidating or even monumental, he sees to it his mission eventually ends up with thumping success.

A leader could be anyone, shepherding a group of people. It could be a school leader or a leader of political party, a recreational club, a social or spiritual organisation or even a team-leader at an MNC.

A perfect leader is the one bringing in plenitude of positive change in the place he’d be working in. Apparently to this, he needs to be uber enterprising with a dynamic and electrifying persona.

He should also be prudent, pragmatic, besides being equipped with edifying qualities, so that he’d be able to egg, enthuse and encourage others to work exceedingly well.

He should also know how to keep his team cohesively knit together, besides knowing the art of constantly pepping up the ambience, thus making it highly conducive to work.

A friend talks of an ideal team leader at her workplace. It seems, whenever any of her teammates, commits a blooper, the leader would instantly spring to his defense, taking the blame upon himself, thus shielding him from wrath of higher officers.

But later, he’d covertly call the culprit to his chamber and censure him with chastening words, so that the goof-ups don’t get repeated. And, in case of a well-done good work, the leader would extravagantly applaud the person before everyone else, thus proffering him with plenty of impetus to work even better. But sadly, such leaders are not commonly found in today’s cut-throat times.

That’s why it is believed great leaders are like invaluable gems in the crown of the place they work in, facilitating its overall growth/prosperity. But a bad leader not only leads himself to professional damnation, but takes along others around and his fiefdom, too, to it!
