Being his creative best

Another young man joins the bandwagon of directors in Sandalwood. Anand is stepping into the shoes of a director with his directorial debut Machcha Baglakko.  He is one among the four leading characters in the film, the shooting for which will commence in April. “I have always dreamt of directing a movie, but I didn't find anybody to produce it. Now, Lokesh Murthy has come forward to produce it under the banner Shwetha Creations,” Anand told Metrolife.

Machcha Baglakko is an out and out comedy which is woven around the life of four unemployed youngsters. “They kidnap a rich girl for ransom. Here’s where the trouble begins and newer problems keep cropping up," he reveals and adds, "I won't call it an extraordinary film but I can assure you that every bit of the film is enjoyable and there is also a message for youth.” Being an actor, Anand feels that it won't be difficult for him to direct.

“It would be easier for me to teach acting to others. I am confident that I would put in my creative best in acting and screenplay. But I am not good in the technical aspects,” he avers. The shooting of the movie will be held in Bangalore.

Anand shot to stardom when he was barely seven years old and since then has only grown in name and fame. SSLC Nan Maklu in which Anand acts and directs, is hailed as one among the more popular soaps in Kannada.
