With this addition, the bank’s total branch network rose to 3,035, including three overseas branches one each in London, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
It opened a record 303 branches during financial year 2009-10.
Out of 303 branches opened in current financial, nine are exclusively for micro-finance. Population category-wise, the bank has 777 rural, 787 semi-urban, 743 urban and 725 metro branches in India.
