<p>The Karnataka State Commission for Women has taken suo motu notice of the Kammanahalli molestation based on media reports, its chairperson Nagalakshmi Bai told reporters on Wednesday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The commission has written to the DCP (East) and sought report on the action taken. “The commission takes this incident very seriously. I have urged the police to take strict action against people indulging in such behaviour. I have opened a suo motu case. There needs to a concerted effort to make the city safe for women,” she added.<br /> </p>
