Keeping pace with change

The latest ‘Spring -Summer Collection’ for women from ‘Forever 21’ stands out for its diversity and contemporary feel. From bright pop colours and monotones to classic combinations of black and grey, the brand provides varied choices under one roof.

The brand finds it origin in Los Angeles and not only provide a great variety in the apparel section but also in accessories as well. Abhinav Zutshi, India Business Head, Forever 21, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd, points out that most of the styles are the latest trends in Hollywood.

“Women can complete their wardrobe at our brand. We keep adding new styles almost everyday and this makes sure that the our customers don’t fall short of variety,” says Abhinav. The designers with the brand, says Abhinav, work on designs that cater to the fashion-forward young girls of today.

“The international design and sourcing team is always on the job to identify new trends in colours, prints, silhouettes, fabrics and bring them to consumers across the world at reasonable prices,” adds Abhinav. The latest ‘Spring-Summer Collection’ is designed to appear bright and the designers have done well to play around with prints and patterns to come up with trendy yet comfortable outfits. There are dresses, shorts, denims, crop tops, jackets and T-shirts.

“The latest line is inspired by a lot of eclectic street themes and has monochrome tie and dye as well as stylised denims with patches and wash effects,” says Abhinav. He says the denims have been worked upon and given a different identity.

Abhinav adds that there are also a wide range of bohemian-inspired products. He thinks that it is the brand’s competitive spirit that helps them stay ahead of its competitors. “Another one of our unique selling points is that we maintain the same prices as in the US,” he adds.

The brand stocks some quirky accessories that add a colourful contrast to the garments. “We have a unique assortment of accessories like bags, shoes, scarfs, stoles and hats. There are also a lot of knick knacks that add that dash of colour to the garment,” says Abhinav.
