‘Solly’, the women’s brand of Allen Solly has thoughtfully crafted style and innovation in its designs, to create a line that is in keeping with the changing fashion among young women. The brand has an attractive range of well-fitted trousers, shirts, T-shirts and dresses in different colours and designs.

The perfect match

The designers have infused a sense of breathability and vibrancy in all the designs. Talking about the latest collection, Vandana Gupta, head of Womenswear Designs, Solly by Allen Solly says, “Our new line has a variety of styles of soft, breathable cotton in vibrant prints. We are keen to be at the forefront for women who have to adapt to the new work environment. We also understand that there’s now a thin line between formal and casual wear.”

The recent additions include fluid trousers and blazers, bringing together classic workwear in a great drapable, easy-to-wear fabric, says Vandana.

“This is a big hit among our customers. Another product that echoes style and innovation is the classic shirt in cotton stretch fabric that comes in three different styles. It is a must-have in any woman’s wardrobe,” says Vandana. The brand also stocks a separate casual work line of stylish cotton chinos and smart casual shirts.

The team of designers work towards creating different looks for different occasions and work spaces. For instance, in summer, says Vandana, a pair of cotton chinos and a washed cotton shirt or top not only makes one look smart but also leaves one feeling comfortable.

“You could complete the look with a pair of loafers in a vibrant colour to add that dash of pop which is such an integral part of summer,” she adds.

Women have a definite choice when it comes to deciding what must go into their wardrobe. “Over the decades, we’ve found how women who hold on to tradition, also embrace modernity with ease. It’s not a bad thing to be choosy. We have begun respecting those choices and are constantly working towards fulfilling those requirement,” adds Vandana.

The accessories at the brand do well to complement the clothes. The range of bags and footwear are suitable for all occasions. Women will never run out of choice when it comes to matching accessories with clothes, assures Vandana.
