Training in urban apiculture

The department of Horticulture will conduct short-duration training courses in urban apiculture for 50 interested persons in March.

The training will be held from 10.30 am to 4 pm on two days at the Horticulture Training Centre, Lalbagh. The programme emphasises on beekeeping, maintenance of colonies, honey extraction, uses of honey and its byproducts among other key topics.

Training will be held on March 2 to 3 (last date for registration: March 1), March 6 to 7 (last date: March 4); March 13 to 14 (last date: March 10). For details, call 2657084, 26569188 during office hours.
