Pratibimba, a web-based platform will provide citizens access to information on flagship schemes, key programmes and projects of the state government.
The platform, launched by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru on Tuesday, will also enable citizens to check the performance and track actions taken on budget proposals and election manifestoes among others. The platform can be accessed at https://pratibimba.karnataka.gov.in.
Siddaramaiah said it is a move towards ushering in transparency in administration and governance. Karnataka is the second state after Andhra Pradesh to have such a platform.
Former chief minister
H D Kumaraswamy had tried to use the internet as a medium to interact with citizens. However, the project did not take off.
