Rain lashed Kalaburagi district on Thursday. Some low-lying areas were flooded and vehicular movement affected following the rain. There was also a drop in the temperature by three to four degree celsius. Rain lashed Kalaburagi city for more than 30 minutes in the wee hours. The city also received rain in the evening.
Khaja Husaini Rasulsab Mashalkar, 25, a farmer was struck dead by lightning in Karajagi village in Afzalpur taluk on Wednesday evening, while he was returning home after finishing work in his farm.
