JOIN USSupermodel turned actor Elena Fernandes, who made her Bollywood debut with director Karan Johar’s ‘Kapoor and Sons’, seems to be having a really good time these days.
The new girl in B-Town has secured a place among the ‘Top 20 Women Influencers for the Year’ by Britain’s Eastern Eye.
“What inspired me to make a difference is that as humans, we are born with a responsibility to help the weak and those who cannot fend for themselves. I believe one person can make a difference for even if you change one life, that is a whole life still saved. An act of kindness, no matter how big or small, makes a big difference,” said the actor.
“The advice I would give girls is that don’t listen to other people who say, ‘Oh! But the problem is too big to solve.’ No problem is ever too big. Give an animal your leftovers, share your drink with a beggar; an act of kindness is priceless,” added Elena.
Moreover, the power list also included the name of ‘Commando 2’ actor Esha Gupta and Pakistani TV host Reham Khan.
