Boss BabyEnglish (U/A) Cast (voices): Alec Baldwin, Miles Christopher Bakshi, Tobey Maguire, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa KudrowDirector: Tom McGrath Replete with potty PJs, bare baby butts, frequent farts, Boss Baby comes across more an adult fare than pure play children’s animated fantasy comic caper.

Inspired by Maria Frazee’s The Boss Baby, the film is more a metaphor of how mind works with one loses being object of affection and attention.

Deriving its devilish giggles thanks to sibling rivalry which forms film’s fulcrum, Boss Baby focuses on how, Tim, seven, basking under pampering from parents, seethes in rage and rancour, when kid brother, becomes object of his parents care and attention, and makes much song and dance about it much to elder’s chagrin.

Vain, precocious, full of cockiness, Boss Baby, suited with tie and booted with briefcase in hand, sporting a blockish bald pate, smirk smile, destroys bliss of big brother whose world was in a twirl with himself and his parents before kiddo’s arrival.  Tim, full of angst and anxiety his tranquil world, has been turned topsy-turvy plots win over his parents’ attention. Knit within this basic plot is that of brash baby executive of Puppy Co out to destroy familial equations masquerading as new kid brother.

Fast paced and merry, kids are bound to find common case with prim and proper briefcase handling corporate honcho baby’s antics with harried parents on the hop, with his constant bawling. However, they may soon tire out soon at the tomfoolery desperately dished out to entertain both adults and them in equal measure.
