The procession commenced at Kalaseshwara Temple to reach Kalasa Gram Panchayat. MLA M P Kumaraswamy received the memorandum and assured the implementation of the project at the earliest.
Later, the protestors staged a procession in front of Kalasa police station, demanding the reinstating of Kalasa Sub-Inspector S S Heremat who has been transferred. Inspector Basheer Ahmmed received the memorandum. KRV President Brahmadeva, Srenika, CPI leader Gopal Shetty, Malnad Hitharakshana Vedike’s K L Vasu and others were present.
