The High Court of Karnataka has dismissed the bail application of Naraya- naswamy, who is accused of tampering with the answer scripts of exams for the post of assistant public prosecutors and assistant public pleaders.
Narayanaswamy, an assistant with the Directorate of Prosecution, was arrested by the Lokayukta police on the basis of a private complaint in 2014. His bail application was rejected by the Lokayukta court. He then moved the high court. The Lokayukta counsel submitted to the court that if bail was granted to him, he could tamper with evidence. Justice Aravind Kumar dismissed the bail application.
