The state government on Friday launched ‘Elevate’, a programme to fast track 100 most innovative start-ups. The selected startups will be eligible for guidance, consultancy, legal and financial assistance.
The startups will be funded under any of the state government initiatives like Idea2PoC fund, Karasevam fund, Kitven fund, AGVC fund, women’s entrepreneurs’ fund and tourism fund.
Priyank Kharge, IT- BT and Tourism Minister said Rs 2,500 crore had been allocated for distribution to startups across sectors like agriculture, biotech and gaming in different cities like Hubballi, Kalaburagi, Mysuru and Mangaluru.
