2 killed in accidents in eastern B'luru

Two separate accidents in eastern Bengaluru claimed as many lives on Sunday.

Jaleel (35), a fruit and vegetable vendor, was killed after a car ran over him near Marathahalli underbridge on Sunday night.He was on his way to a shop when the accident occurred. He suffered grievous head injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

In another accident, a 38-year-old man working in a restaurant was killed on the spot when a passenger vehicle hit him as he tried to cross the Outer Ring Road in Kadubeesanahalli. The victim has been identified as Bhagawan. The traffic police have seized the vehicles involved in the accidents and arrested two drivers.
