Sachin holds screening of his biopic for villagers in AP

Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar today arranged a special screening of his biopic "Sachin: A Billion Dreams" for the residents of Puttamraju Kandriga village in Andhra Pradesh, which he has adopted under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY).

The village is located in Nellore district in AP and sources close to the former cricketer said that the district administration's help was taken to organise the special screening.

Around 350 villagers, including children, were taken to S2 Cinema in Nellore in six buses to watch the special show, the sources said adding that the screening started at 2.50 pm.

"Sachin: A Billion Dreams" is a docu-drama based on the life of the master blaster and comprises some real life videos. A special screening of the movie had been arranged for the Air Force personnel in New Delhi recently.
