State bandh won't be successful:, says CM

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that the ‘Karnataka bandh’ called by various organisations on Monday will not be successful.

Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, the chief minister said that the state government had taken adequate precautions to ensure that normal life is not disrupted due to the bandh.

Condemning the statement of BJP National President Amit Shah describing Mahatma Gandhi ‘chatur baniya,’ the chief minister said that the remarks were an insult to the entire nation.

Siddaramaiah said that the Opposition parties should come up with documentary evidence to substantiate their land grab charges against Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of All India Congress Committee president, Sonia Gandhi.
