<p>The Associated Managements of Primary and Secondary Schools in Karnataka (KAMS) has written a letter to Governor Vajubhai Vala, condemning a statement about private schools made by Health Minister Ramesh Kumar. <br /><br />The minister had on Thursday said that goons, rowdies and suspended government officials have established educational institutions and are running them like business ventures. <br /><br />The association has protested his remark stating that it maligns the entire education system by creating a bad impression among parents and students. In the letter, general secretary of KAMS Shasi Kumar D requested the governor to advise members of the legislature to not make general statements which malign educational institutions.<br /> </p>
