Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali said it was a great experience to work with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ and he hopes that he justifies the superstar’s talent in the film.

Imtiaz, who has previously directed films such as ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ hand ‘Tamasa’, has teamed up with Shah Rukh for the first time in the upcoming romantic comedy, which also features Anushka Sharma.

“He is the most gracious, funny, passionate person, filmmaker friend that one can hope for. It’s his kindness that the film has turned out so well,” Imtiaz said.

“I’m happy that I got a chance to work with The Shah Rukh Khan. I hope I’ve been able to justify the huge talent and resource that the man is.”

The filmmaker also praised Anushka and said he wanted to work with the actor since a very long time.
Recently, Shah Rukh had compared Imtiaz to Yash Chopra, saying that the ‘Rockstar’ director’s flair for writing love stories reminds him of the late filmmaker.
