'No alliance with any party in BBMP'

Speaking to mediapersons in Dharwad on Sunday, he said, the JD(S) will not tie up with any other political party to gain power in BBMP. JD(S) is ready to sit in the Opposition and work for the development of the State, he added.

“JD(S) will wait till the results are declared. Every time the JD(S) has played the role of ‘king-maker’, hence this time if people prefer we would be the Kings,” he expressed.
Condemning the State government for failing to curb illegal activities during the BBMP elections, he alleged that money and sarees were being transported to the voters in police vans and the Election Commission has failed to check such illegal practices, the former chief minister mentioned.
