Youth stabbed in Ullal

A youth was stabbed by four persons at Azad Nagar in Ullal over a trivial issue on Tuesday. The injured is Austin (28), a resident of Ullal Uliya and a goods vehicle driver.

He had taken soil in his goods vehicle to Azad Nagar. While unloading the soil, a car arrived at the spot. The  occupants of the car asked Austin to park his goods vehicle by the roadside.

When Austin said that he will unload the soil immediately and leave the place, the four men in the car stabbed him and fled the spot.

The injured was rushed to a hospital and is recuperating, the police said.

Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police C H Sudheer Kumar Reddy, DCPs K M Shantharaju and Hanumantharaya rushed to the spot. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
