He said that at the centre of the Glass House, a 21 feet tall, 30 feet wide and 38 feet long replica of his house is being created with 10.5 lakh flowers, including 3.5 lakh red, yellow and white roses. Orchids and other flowers are also being used. For this, 22 skilled labourers and 50 skilled experts have been working for the past eight days. A replica of Kavishaila, the hillock which was the source of inspiration to the poet, is also being created.

A paper model of Kuvempu, a photo gallery showing the life of the poet,

scenes from his novels and write-ups of selected poems and dramas will be showcased.

The department is expecting over four lakh visitors at the flower show this time, including visitors, litterateurs, poets and critics.
