2nd edition of IoT India Congress in city on Sept 14, 15

The second edition of the Internet of Things (IoT) India Congress will be held in the city on September 14 and 15.

The two-day international event is being organised at the Park Plaza hotel, Marathahalli, by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and India IoT Panel with support from the Union Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Deccan Herald as media partner.

Experts in the field will share their knowledge about the impact IoT will have on businesses such as chip manufacturers, gateway providers, telecom operators and their revenues. The event will also discuss how IoT will change other fields not directly related to technology.

Minister of Communication (independent charge) Manoj Sinha, CEO of government think-tank NITI Aayog Amitabh Kant, secretary of union electronics and IT ministry Aruna Sundararajan, will be some of the eminent speakers at the event.

Founder of Art of Living, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, will also be a guest at the event.

Discussions will follow eight tracks- Healthcare, Manufacturing, Telecom, Emerging Technologies, Standards, Digital Payments and Ganga Rejuvenation.

The event will have participation from CEOs and CTOs of top firms such as Ali Hosseini, CEO of SenRa, Dr Gopichand Katragadda, CTO at Tata Group and Jim Morrish, Chief IoT solution consultant for Huawei (European region). Experts from other fields such as Dr S Varanasi, founder of ‘108’ service, and Dr Rajakumar Deshpande, consultant neurosurgeon at Fortis Hospitals, will also speak at the event.
