Speaking to presspersons, he said a proposal has been sent to the government to include Annigeri, Maravanji, Anthraghatte, and Kalkere under Suvarna Grama yojane. The work on construction of 6 additional classrooms to Kadur Government PU Colleges have been completed at an estimated cost of Rs 72 lakh. The classrooms will be ready for the next academic year.
A sum of Rs 15 lakh has been released for the renovation of libraries in Doddapattanagere, Birur, Giriyapura, Garje, Balliganoor and Jiganehalli. A sum of Rs 5 crore has been released for the building of Minority Morarji Residential School in Gedlehalli.
