The Autumn-Winter 2017 collection from Celio is all about streetsmart styling options for the urban man of today.
One can look forward to an array of choices, right from casual, denim and smart workwear, in this line.
Satyen Momaya, CEO, Celio Future Fashion Pvt. Ltd. India says, “For the Autumn Winter 2017 Collection, Celio* has six distinct sartorial themes. ‘California’ – warm, colourful prints and sunny tones on T-shirts and sweatshirts inspired by the 70s in California, ‘Retro’ – vintage pieces based on trends in England back in the 80s and ‘Back to Black’ – an urban street style theme with dark colours – are some themes.”
“The other themes are ‘Design’ – a ‘less is more collection’ concentrating on the simpler and essential range of ‘good basics’, ‘Earthed’ – a nature-inspired theme that has a range of outdoor clothing and ‘Smart’ – tailored pieces like suits and sweaters made with premium materials and careful craftsmanship for a more city-like allure.”
The ‘California’ theme is known for its sunny tones on T-shirts and sweatshirts. This theme revisits colours like yellow and orange mixed with shades of blues, greens and greys, which can be worn with bleached and denim Bermudas.
The ‘Retro’ theme has a mix of tailored pants worn with sports light jacket and vintage-look polo shirts. It takes a subtly retro direction that looks to the past but remains distinctly modern. Fall colours like burgundy, navy, dark green mixed with raw denim are the highlight of this line.
‘Back to black’ includes faux leather perfecto, tweed wool coat, cotton sweaters, T-shirts and denim shirts, worn with dark sophisticated or used jeans.
‘Earthed’ has lighter shell-type ‘parka’ jackets which can be worn with brushed and blurred checked shirts or printed from botanical to camouflage.
‘Smart’ theme has shirts in double threaded cotton which add a touch of quality to your wardrobe. The wool coats emphasise on the importance of premium materials.
He adds, “One can choose from a variety of pieces right from denim, Bermudas, retro pieces and urban style to minimalistic fashion, nature-inspired prints and smart casuals.”

Ashish Varghese, from CMR IMS, wore a white full-sleeved semi-formal shirt and paired it with a black sweater and black denim. He also wore all-white sneakers.
Punchline: “The jeans was very comfortable. It looked fashionable and classy.”

Vijay Raghav, from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering wore a red sweater with a white shirt, navy blue denim pants and beige casual shoes.
Punchline: “The colours were coordinated. This outfit can be worn to an evening get-together.

Shashank Tekkam, from CMR IMS, wore a white T-shirt with a blue checked shirt. He completed the look with a blue denim pants and navy blue coloured casual shoes.
Punchline: “The neo-slim fit jeans were comfortable. The shoes were stylish.”
