Though the garden looks lush green and attractive, when one enters the garden, can make the person sad and disappointed as there is nothing appealing in the place. The place which should have been filled with little children playing pranks on each other, as it is summer vacations now, is empty. The reason is that the garden is not in a condition to attract children towards itself because there are heaps of waste thrown in the garden everywhere.

Nagarika Horata Samiti President Nanjundarao says that the entrance of the garden itself has waste littered on it. Since Gauri halla flows next to the garden, bad smell from the sewage stagnated at Gauri halla makes the entire area stink. Further, the worst part is that the construction workers are using the garden as a toilet.

“We should have been happy that there is a park right next to our house but unfortunately for us, it is a curse. The dirt in the garden is breeding mosquitoes and we are suffering,” says Lobo, a local resident.

When Town Municipal Council Member Dinesh was asked about the same, he said that he was not aware of the condition of the park. However, now that he has come to know the situation, he will set right the park in two days.
