<p>The Court issued the direction while hearing a petition filed by Noorjan and Pyarejan against the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) alleging apathy in construction of the quarters, promised several years ago.<br /><br />It could be recalled that in view of collapse of a quarters, 21 blocks were demolished in view of their dilapidated condition. The BBMP decided to construct a residential complex for the displaced residents of EWS quarters in the year 2006 on a public-private partnership along with a commercial complex in 13.10 acres of land.complex in the 13.1 acres of land. <br /><br />The project was awarded to Maverick Holdings and Investment Private Ltd. (MHIPL). But the Mumbai-based Akruti Nirman Limited, which too had bid for the project, moved the High Court alleging favouritism while awarding the contract.<br /><br />The High Court had stayed the decision of awarding the contract to MHIPL in November 2006. <br /><br />Justice Ram Mohan Reddy directed the government to place all the related documents before the Court.</p>
