Aaryan, Suvana steal limelight on day two

Aaryan Bhosale and Suvana Baskar set the pool ablaze on the second day of the 2nd SFI All-India inter-club swimming meet on Monday.

Thanks to Suvana's show, Bengaluru's Dolphin Aquatics raced ahead to take a lead on top of the medals table.

There was no catching Bhosale in Group II races, as the Maharashtra swimmer won the 400M  freestyle  and the 200M backstroke in fine manner. The  SGTIDM swimmer clocked four minutes, 20.79 seconds to win his freestyle race while he won the backstroke in 2:14.62.

Among the girls, Suvana was the top performer, winning her races without much fuss. The Dolphin Aquatics' trainee won the Group II, 200M backstroke in 2:35.17 and the 50M butterfly in 31.17 seconds.

In Group IV,  Ridhima Veerendra Kumar  continued her fine form at the meet to add more medals to her tally. The Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre trainee won the  50M backstroke in 34.29 seconds while she captured the 200M individual medley gold in 2:53.64.
