With just six days left for the 83rd All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, the organisers are leaving no stone unturned to make it a success by drawing more people to the event.

A 24-member team (all artistes) has been constituted for the purpose. The artistes would be visiting schools and colleges to create awareness on the importance of holding the literary festival by rendering 'Nadageethe' and related songs highlighting the culture and tradition of the state and Kannada language. They would also invite the students to attend the convention in large numbers and make it a huge success.

Kannada and Culture Assistant Director H Chennappa told DH that the main objective of the literary convention is to create awareness on the richness of Kannada language among the students. The artistes would sing songs highlighting the festival, at important circles of the city, he added.
