Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the Dharma Samsad from November 24 to 26.
SP Dr Sanjeev Patil said on Wednesday that as many as 2,000 police from the district and 14,000 from outside district would be deployed. Four ASPs, 12 Dy SPs and 105 PSIs would be engaged in the security service. The KSRP and DAR platoons would be stationed at crucial junctions. He said the public should inform police immediately if they come across any suspicious activities or if they find any suspicious object.
Extravagant parking arrangements are made and the traffic will be in slow motion at all important junctions and roads. The vehicles from Mangaluru would be parked at MJC grounds, while those coming from Kundapura should be parked at Bailur and the vehicles from Karkala at Beedenagudde grounds.
The light vehicles and two wheelers may be parked at Rajangana parking area and Christian High School grounds, he added.
