<p align="justify">BJP state secretary Manu Muthappa has challenged the district Congress to issue a white paper on the contributions of the Congress-led government in Kodagu district.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">He said that the BJP had issued a white paper on the release of Rs 1,800 crore grant to Kodagu district during the BJP's tenure in the state.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">Briefing reporters here on Monday, he said that during the BJP's tenure, funds were released for laying highway, rural roads, setting up of a medical college, Mangalore University PG Centre at Chikkaluvara, district administration complex, mini Vidhana Soudha, upgrading a stadium and others. In the last four and a half years the Congress-led state government has released only Rs 200 crore, he said. The rural roads are crying for attention. The demand for a overbridge at Bhagamandala has not been fulfilled so far.</p>
