Modi stays night in Mangaluru, leaves for Lakshadweep

Before visiting Lakshadweep, the island recouping from the disastrous effect of the Okki storm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stayed the night Mangaluru in Karnataka, on Monday.

After spending the night at the circuit house, the PM left for Lakshdweep on Tuesday at about 7.30 am.

On Monday, Director General of Police Neelamani Raju, various officers and local politicians met him.  

As Modi visited Mangaluru the same day of BJP 's victory in the  Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections, there was excitement during his visit.
