Aug 2007: DoT initiates allotment of 2G Spectrum and Unified Access Services licences

Jan 10, 2008: DoT decides to issue licences on first-come-first-serve basis

May 4, 2009: Complaint filed with CVC claiming illegalities in the 2G spectrum allocations

May 19, 2009: Another complaint filed to the CVC, highlighting grant of spectrum to Swan Telecom at throwaway prices

2009: CVC refers the case to CBI

Oct 21, 2009: CBI files FIR against "unknown officers" of the DoT and "unknown private persons/companies and others"

Nov 14-15, 2010: Raja resigns as Telecom Minister

Feb 2, 2011: CBI arrests Raja

April 2, 2011: CBI files its first chargesheet, names Raja and others as accused in the case

April 25, 2011: CBI files supplementary charge sheet, names five more people including Kanimozhi as accused

Feb 2, 2012: SC cancels 122 licences granted during Raja's tenure.

April 19, 2017: Special CBI Court concludes arguments

Dec 21, 2017: Raja and all other accused in the case let off.
