Newly-wed man ends life

A23-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a tree at Kochanahalli in the taluk on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Rasika of Suttur in Nanjangud. According to sources, he was married to his first cousin despite facing opposition from the family members. Police said that the couple had a difference of opinion due to which he committed suicide.

Mysuru South Police are investigating the case.
