eBay offers replacement guarantee on all deals done

The guarantee can be availed for all the transactions since March 21, according to eBay India.

In a statement, eBay India said it is offering buyers’ replacement or refund guarantee on all transactions in case they are not 100 per cent satisfied with the product they purchased.
The guarantee offers a replacement or refunds to buyers in case the buyer does not receive the item or the item is not as described in the listing.

Further, it covers the entire transaction amount (both the product price and shipping charges), the statement added.

eBay India’s (Head-Operations) Vasundhara Bhonsle said the guarantee programme is designed to provide 100 per cent satisfaction for buyers.

Meanwhile, eBay reported an 11 per cent rise in quarterly profits, as revenue grew in its core businesses of auctions and its Paypal online payment system. The Internet pioneer said that it earned $398 million in its fiscal first quarter, compared to earnings of $357 million year ago.
