'Stop giving undue coverage to statements'

Former prime minister HDDeve Gowda took exception to some reporters wanting him to react to the allegations made against him by Animal Husbandry Minister AManju with regard to the transfer of Hassan DC.

Gowda retorted, "Throw stones on dirt instead of asking me to react about Manju's statements." Gowda was in the city to attend the felicitation of former syndicate member NJayaramu at Senate Bhavan here on Sunday. Manju had recently spoken against Gowda for holding him responsible for the transfer of Hassan DC Rohini Sindhuri Dasari and also for "irregularities" in Mahamastakabhisheka.
