Chengappa 'tricks in Konerira victory

Jeevan opened the floodgates in the fourth minute itself and four minutes later Vepin Chengappa made it 2-0. After a brief period of mid-field play, Shreyas struck one-minute before half time and at the stroke of the break Jeevan scored his second and the team’s fourth.

After the break, Roshan swelled Konerira’s lead to 5-0 in the 36th minute before Jeevan completed the rout in the 39th.

In another match, Chowrira scored a facile 3-0 win over Chettangada. CT Nanjappa drew first blood in the fifth minute before Dhanush Nannaiah struck in the 27th minute before CA Ashik wrapped a 3-0 victory at half time.
