Four from family killed in mishap

The accident occurred when a Shimoga-boundKSRTC bus headed collided against the four-wheeler moving towards Tumkur.

Abdul Bashir (60), his son Aamir Pasha (28), son-in-law Shabbir Pasha (38) died on the spot. Another son, Munir Pasha (38) succumbed to the injuries at a hospital. Navaz (24), Bashir’s son, daughter-in-law Aishu (25), daughter Reshma (28), grandchildren Nida and Faizan, and driver Hyder (38) were grievously injured.

All the occupants of the vehicle were residents of Tumkur. The injured have been referred to Tumkur Hospital for further treatment.

Rural police station Sub Inspector A K Thimmaiah visited the spot. A case has been registered by Honnavalli police.
