Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed confidence that the Congress will win all three seats in the upcoming Vidhana Sabha to Rajya Sabha elections.
He added that the cabinet of ministers would meet to decide on the matter of granting separate religion tag to Lingayats on March 14.
"Protest is the lifeblood of a democracy and religious heads have the freedom to hold independent opinions," the CM said.
In a reply to a question, the CM clarified that appointment of staff to the Vidhana Sabha is not done by the government. "It is not the government's responsibility," he added.
