Justice Shetty discharged from hospital

Lokayukta Justice P Vishwanath Shetty was discharged from Mallya Hospital on Wednesday.

Justice Shetty was rushed to the hospital as he sustained multiple injuries after he was stabbed allegedly by Tejraj Sharma of Tumakuru in his chamber in the Lokayukta office in M S Building here on March 7. Dr Divakar Bhat, chief cardiothoracic surgeon, Mallya Hospital, said that Justice Shetty has been advised rest and given a list of dos and don't.

"Justice Shetty will have to visit the hospital for a follow-up next week, otherwise he is doing fine. Nurses will be visiting him every three days for dressing the wounds," Dr Bhat   added. Sharma is presently in police custody and is being probed.
