BENGALURU: The First Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Wednesday sent Mohammed Haris Nalapad and six of his associates to another 14 days in jail.
Nalapad is in judicial custody for the brutal assault on Vidwath L, 24, in an upscale pub in UB City on February 17. He surrendered himself to the Cubbon Park police a day after the assault.
All the seven suspects appeared before the judge via video conferencing from the Central Prison, Parappana Agrahara.
The magistrate extended their judicial custody until April 4.
The sessions court and the high court have rejected Nalapad's bail applications. The expelled the Youth Congress leader is now preparing to move the Supreme Court.
