St Aloysius College Alumni Association, Mangaluru, will confer Eminent Aloysian Alumni Awards on five achievers and alumni of the college on March 25.
The awardees are: Karnataka Bank Non-Executive Chairman P Jayaram Bhat, Diya Systems CEO Dr V Ravichandran, Pilikula Regional Science Centre Director Dr K V Rao, Chief Traffic Warden Joseph Gonsalves and entrepreneur Jeevan Saldanha.
The award function will be held at Fr L R Rasquinha Hall, LRCI Block at St Aloysius College, Mangaluru on March 25 at 5.30 pm.
P Jayaram Bhat obtained his MSc degree from Mysore University. He had been the MD of Karnataka Bank and is now the non executive chairman.
Dr V Ravichandran is a Fulbright scholar and a PhD holder. He is also the founder CEO of Diya Systems.
Dr K V Rao has a teaching experience of three decades at St Aloysius College. Currently, he is the Director of Pilikula Regional Science Centre.
Joseph Gonsalves (Joe Gonsalves), a nonagenarian who is now working as the Chief traffic warden of Mangaluru, has working experience with various companies across the globe.
Jeevan Saldanha is a sports enthusiast and an entrepreneur. He is the former president of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
