Former MLA N Chaluvarayaswamy has said, "I will not speak anything about JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda's family and do anything that will create a rift among the family members."
Speaking to reporters after participating in the special pujas for 'Thiruvabharana pettige' (ornament box) containing Vairamudi here, the former MLA said that it is not right to make personal remarks about any leader and that is not our culture.
Apart from issuing political statements, I have not targetted anybody personally so far, he said.
"The rift in Deve Gowda's family is not going to benefit us in any way. I resigned from JD(S) and joined Congress only yesterday but will fight unitedly to strengthen the Congress party in the district," the former MLA said.
