While Chemistry had one question out of syllabus, the Physics paper had two questions with incorrect options as multiple choice answers.

Kavya Dhanaraj, a Class XII student who appeared for CET said: “The Chemistry paper was more difficult as most of the questions required calculations. Hence, time management was challenging. The Physics paper comprised of questions with moderate difficulty, and also had 50 percent of numerical questions which required calculations,” Kavya said.

Another candidate, Prithvi Kumar, said the Chemistry paper was on par with the All India Examination on the difficulty levels.

He said, “Despite the mock tests, Chemistry paper was quite a surprise for numerical questions in it.

“Calculations and arriving at the right answer made students lose out on time. The Physic paper was relatively easier and had question from all topics, comprising of less numerical questions”.
