Places such as Koramangala 4th Block, Madivala, MG Road, Domlur, Indiranagar, Varthur, Electronic City, Richmond Town, Shantinagar, Vijayanagar, Yeshwanthpur and Hanumanthnagar received rainfall for more than half an hour.
Some parts of Koramangala 4th Block saw partial waterlogging.
"Even for the slightest rain, the roads are waterlogged as the stormwater drain work is incomplete," complained Preeti Kansal, a resident of Koramangala 4th Block.
According to sources in Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCoM), 11 tree fall complaints were registered at places such as Koramangala ST bed, AGS Layout, Kumaraswamy Layout, and HAL 2nd Stage.
Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) officials informed that they were removing all those trees.
The BESCoM has also received about 1,066 complaints from 4 pm to 8 pm out of which 251 complaints have been attended to.
