<p class="title">Two policemen were injured in a grenade attack by militants in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday.</p>.<p class="title">Reports said unidentified militants lobbed a grenade on Pulwama Police Station at around 10:40 am.</p>.<p class="title">SSP Pulwama Aslam Choudhary while confirming the incident said two policemen sustained minor splinter injuries in the blast. </p>.<p class="title">Reports said immediately after the attack security forces cordoned off the area and launched a hunt to nab the attackers.</p>.<p class="title">Since last year militants have been using grenade attacks frequently against the security forces in the Valley. On January 19, eight policemen were injured in a similar attack in the same district. On September 7, a civilian was killed while over a dozen others were injured when militants lobbed a grenade on a CRPF vehicle in Jehangir Chowk.</p>.<p class="title">On June 13, a series of five grenade attacks rocked southern Kashmir in which eight CRPF personnel and four policemen were injured.</p>
