<p>A Swachh Bharat drive was organised at Sainik School Kodagu on Saturday in order to commemorate the solemn occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar, Father of the Indian Constitution.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The drive was conducted as a part of Swachh Vidyalaya Campaign according to the directives received from the Ministry of Human Resource Development.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Principal Group Capt R R Lall in his address reiterated the need of making the school campus 'plastic free' and encouraged the cadets to strive to keep the surrounding clean and free from plastic items.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He also appraised the cadets on the bad effects of plastic and encouraged them to use products which are biodegradable and do not cause any harm to the environment.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He asked the cadets to remain committed to the cause of ensuring cleanliness in the surroundings.</p>.<p class="bodytext">A total of 534 cadets participated in the Swachh Bharat Mission and campaigned and worked for keeping their surrounding clean and green.</p>
